Costume for my Music Magazine

In the photos I am going to take, my actor will wear a costume that suits the pop genre. This costume will consist of a white shirt, black jeans, and braces. This costume is similar to the clothing of artists who feature in music magazines that I have researched. The costume of my actor will look like this:

Actor for my Music Magazine

I have arranged for Jordan Lloyd to be the actor who features in my magazine. This is due to the fact that Jordan's dress sense suits the style of my magazine. I will have these pictures taken by next Wednesday. Here is a picture of Jordan:

Conclusions based on research

Conclusions based on research

From my research analysing current music magazines, I now know the layout of which my magazine will need to be in. From this, I will be able to create a suitable music magazine cover. Therefore, my music magazine will be aimed at men aged 17-24 and the genre of this magazine will be pop as pop is the genre of music I listen to and also because I really like the style. Their social status will be young professionals and the price will be £5 which is the same price as the magazine "Q" which focuses on a similar genre of music. My work will now concentrate on preparing a photo shoot for appropriate original photos for my artist to feature on the front cover and contents page. My next posts will look into the Mise en Scene for this photo shoot, particularly; my actor, costume, props, camera angles and a record of my time management.
